Iglesia Bautista Monte Hebrón
Baptist church in the Monterrey area, formally organized in June 1982.
Founding
The Iglesia Bautista Monte Hebrón was founded and organized in June 1982, according to the epilogue of Eva Ashcraft's memoir. The church called Tommy Ashcraft as pastor. He served for approximately 34 years, and Jonathan Ashcraft was chosen as pastor in 2016.
Historical context
The church grew out of the missionary work begun by Louie Hickman and Eva Lemon Ashcraft after their arrival in Monterrey on November 15, 1960. The Monte Hebrón property and Bible institute were part of that developing ministry.
